Our offices are open Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:30pm. We are closed for lunch from 12:00pm-1:00pm.
Every new patient will be accommodated with an appointment as quickly as possible. If you are an established patient and need to see us on an emergent basis, we will do our best to respond to your problem quickly.
Should you find it necessary to cancel or change an appointment, kindly contact our office at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. There is a fee charged for appointments and procedures missed or canceled with less than 24 hours notice.
For your initial visit, you are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to allow ample time to register and fill out paperwork. You must bring your insurance card(s), driver’s license or State photo I.D., and insurance authorization (if required). If an insurance card is not presented at the time of the visit, your appointment will be rescheduled.
All co-payments must be paid at the time of service per your insurance contract.
All medical records pertinent to the visit including labs, diagnostic imaging reports, x-rays and office notes should be brought with the patient to the appointment. If the patient is a minor, a parent or guardian must accompany the child to the visit and show proof of the relationship.
HouseCalls is a personalized automated appointment reminder system that will call your home one day prior to your next visit, to confirm the day, date and time of your appointment. You will be able to confirm your appointment by using your telephone keypad and pressing:
Press the 1 Key to confirm your appointment
Press the 2 Key to replay the message
Press the 3 Key to cancel your appointment
If you are unavailable when the call is made and have voicemail or an answering machine, the system will leave you a brief message. The message can be accessed in English or Spanish.
Unless canceled at least 24 hours in advance, there will be a charge for missed appointments and procedures. Please help us serve you better by keeping scheduled appointments. Multiple missed appointments may result in dismissal from the practice.
Emergencies do occur and we ask that you do not hesitate to call with urgent urologic problems. After hours, our phone is covered by our answering service. One of our physicians is always “On Call” for emergency care (24 hours/day, 365 days/year). The service will relay urgent questions regarding your urologic care to our on-call physician. Please do not call the On-Call physician for routine questions, test results, prescription refills or non-urologic problems that can be properly handled during regular office hours.
We encourage you to call your pharmacy with your prescription number (RX #) and have the pharmacist fax us your refill request during regular business hours. Please call before you are out of your medication so that we have time to properly process your request. If you have not seen your physician for some time, it will be necessary for you to come in for a visit before your physician can refill your prescription. We also participate in E-prescribing, a method whereby prescriptions are sent electronically to the pharmacy, so it is imperative that we have the correct pharmacy information available.
Our physicians have been awarded hospital privileges at Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Marina del Rey Hospital, PIH Downey Regional Medical Center, Lakewood Regional Medical Center and Los Alamitos Medical Center. We are also affiliated with the Physicians Surgery Center of Downey and Reagan Street Surgery Center.
