Shahrad Aynehchi, MD FACS is a Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude graduate of UCLA. Dr. Aynehchi received his medical degree from New York Medical College where he was awarded the “Leonard Paul Weshub, M.D. Memorial Award.” He joined West Coast Urology (Paletz Agatstein Urology Medical Group, Inc.) in 2004 after completing his general surgery and urology training at St. Vincent’s Hospital Manhattan and Westchester Medical Center, New York.
Board-certified by the American Board of Urology, Dr. Aynehchi is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons as well as a member of the American Urological Association.
Dr. Aynehchi has authored numerous scientific papers and has presented at international academic conferences. He is active in resident training as a volunteer Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology at UCLA’s David Geffen School of Medicine.
With a focus on laser and minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Aynehchi has a particular interest and expertise in advanced endoscopic stone surgery, laparoscopic and robotic kidney surgery, and oncology.
In his spare time, Dr. Aynehchi enjoys soccer and traveling with his family.
